Ipswich Mayor Hosts Suffolk Bengali Society for Tea

Suffolk Bengali Society, one of the many communities who are making Ipswich welcoming and vibrant place to live in, was invited by the Mayor of Ipswich to meet with him at the Mayors parlor. It was an honor and great pleasure to have tea with the Mayor, look at the glorious history and understand a bit more about the culture and heritage. The children enjoyed too. We also discussed our upcoming Durga Puja and Mayor/Council can be part of the event and collaborate. What a day! Little Shatoghni had a special gift, a beautiful hand made Thank you card for The Mayor. We thank Mayor Elango K Elavalakan for the invite and the wonderful tour of the Town Hall!
